White Sauce

Key notes

Serves:                   1 Pint

Cooking Time:         15 minutes 

Ingredients

25g butter
25g plain flour
1 pint milk

Method

  1. melt butter in a saucepan

  2. stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes

  3. take the pan off the heat and gradually stir in the milk to get a smooth sauce. Return to heat and stir all the time, bring to the boil. Simmer for a while.
