Ingredients
200g Margarine
200g Caster Sugar
4 eggs
200g self Raising Flour (or remove 3 tablespoons of flour and replace with cocoa powder for chocolate cake)
Method

Preheat oven to 1800C

Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy

Add Beaten egg a little at a time, beating well between each addition

Sieve flour(/cocoa) and fold in gently
-
Divide mixture equally between 2 greased baking tins
-
Bake at 1800C for 40mins until a knife comes out clean when inserted into cake.

Decorate with anything you fancy
