Preparation Time:     10 minutes

Cooking Time:         5 minutes 

Ingredients

100g Plain flour
1 tbsp baking powder
seasoning
1 egg
150ml milk
splash of soy sauce (or chilli sauce)

plus chiken, backon, pork etc (shredded), sweetcorn, spring onions, chick peas....

Method

  1. Sift the flour, baking powder and seasoning into a large bowl. Make a well and add beaten egg and milk  to form smooth batter.

  2. Add sweetcorn or any meats, onions, chick peas etc.

  3. Fry spoonfulls of mixture for about 2-3 minutes each side until golden and crisp.

  4. Serve with salad or salsa
