Ingredients
1 lb cooking apples (chopped, cored, peeled)
2 oz sugar
4 oz marg
2 eggs
8oz self raising flour
lemon juice
cinnamon
Method

Beat marge and sugar until fluffy

beat eggs and add them to the above whilst beating

Gently fold in flour

Mix apples, lemon juice and cinnamon and pour sponge mixture gently over the top.

Bake at 180 degrees C for 30-40 minutes
