Cloud Cake

Serves:                   1 Cake

Preparation Time:     15 minutes

Cooking Time:         50 hours 

Ingredients

9 oz Dark Chocolate

4.5 oz marge

6 eggs (2 whole, 4 separated)

6 oz sugar

9 inch spring tin

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180oC

  2. Line Tin

  3. Melt chocolate in bowl over boiling water in saucepan

  4. Add chocolate to margarine and let it melt

  5. Beat 2 whole eggs and 4 egg yolks with sugar until whisk leaves a trial

  6. Add mixture to chocolate

  7. Whisk egg whites and fold one dollop at a time into chocolate mixture

  8. Pour into tin

  9. Bake for 50 mins until the cake has risen and cracked. The centre should no longer be wobbly.
