Ingredients
100g margarine
100g granulated sugar
100g self raising flour
100g rolled oats
1 dstsp golden syrup
1 tspn ground ginger
½ tsp bicarb soda
Method

Put marg, sugar, and syrup in saucepan

Melt on gentle heat, stir well. Cool

Stir in oats, flour, ginger and bicarb

Grease 2 large baking trays

Take rounded teaspoon of mixture, roll to a ball, place on baking tray and flatten

Bake for 10 mins until golden brown. Allow to cool on tray for 5 mins

Place on cooling tray

Cover with chocolate if desire
